1952 Established Nihon-Atsudenki Co.,Ltd by the founder, Kohei Sato on 16th Aug. Capital 500 thousand JPY Located main factory at Suginami-ku Amanuma
1955 Began Elastic Amateur Cartridge production. Relocated main factory from Suginami-ku to Mitaka-shi
1957 Completed Constant Temperature and Humidify Chamber, and Transformer Substation
1958 Started the development of Auto Record Changer. Joined Japan Audio Society and Electronic Industries Association of Japan
1959 Expanded Molding Equipment Leading the industry as Audio-Parts manufacturer Electric Stethoscope was adopted when the crown prince, Hironomiya was borne.
1961 Received “The Tokyo Gubernatorial Awards” presented to the president Kohei Sato for his contribution to the invention contrivance Our radio broadcast program “Records by witness” won Radio broadcast competition
1963 Began Juke-Box production. Developed and launched portable player with radio production
1966 Began volume production of High-performance Ceramic Cartridge and Dynamic Cartridge Adopted Electronic Accounting Machine Exhibited at Electronics Show
1967 Completed Anechoic Chamber Set up B,K measure. Entered Wireless Technologies field
1968 Obtained Utility Models Rights (register No.969568) for Directive-Microphone Began the research of Electro Condenser Microphone
1969 Received “The medal with Purple Ribon” presented to president Kohei Sato for his contribution to development of a series of invention for Rochelle salt-piezoelectric element Recognized by Japan’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MITI) for contribution to exports Completed the development of Magnetic-Head
1970 Began Magnetic-Head production and Condenser microphone unit
1971 Newly built office at Suginami-ku Asagaya and set up Product Development department
1974 Joint research with MITSUBISHI-YUKA on piezoelectric material
1978 Entered Amateur-Wireless Business Exhibited at JAIA Fair
1980 Founder, Kohei Sato passed away. Fuminori Sato became new president , Nobuko Sato became chairman Received “The forth Order of the Sacred Treasure” presented to then-president for his lifetime contribution to the development of invention
1982 Entered NPS (New Production System) laboratory
1983 Chicago (U.S.A.) office is opened Established QKU Co.,Ltd, as the president, Fuminori Sato
1984 Acquired Iwate Hokushin Co.,Ltd and trade name changed to IWATE AZDEN Corporation Established AZDEN CORPORATION in Chicago, U.S.A. Relocated the office to New York on October.
1989 Began volume production of Audio-Accessory (Headphone, Microphone)
1991 QKU Studio is opened
1993 Company name changed to AZDEN CORPORATION
1994 Received “The 19th Invention Awards-Sasagawa Special Awards”- (Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation & Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, Ltd) Entered the energy-saving industry
1995 The first exhibition at NAB show in U.S.A. Began Volume production of mobile phone receiver
1998 Received “Scientific Technology Administrator Awards“ presented to president, Fuminori Sato for the promotion of science and technology
