A Microphone Adapter with Phantom Power Supply
MC-1PH is an adapter that lets you connect two separate mono audio sources to a DSLR or video camera’s 3.5 mm stereo microphone input jack. Each audio source will be sent separately to the camera's left and right channels. You can combine any two mono microphones, such as an on-camera video mic, lavalier mic, wireless mic or handheld mic, shotgun mic and include their sounds in your recording.
MC-1PH has been added a new ability to use the phantom powered microphones via external power source, which were not in MC-1.

Stereo microphones do not work with the MC-1PH
☑ Two mics connected to the L and R inputs of the MC-1PH will be distributed to the L and R channels of the camera respectively.
☑ By connecting to an external power source, you can use phantom powered micmicrophones.
☑ You can change the mounting position of the shoe and cold shoe adapters to match your shooting style.
☑ Shoe adapter with 1/4”-20 threaded hole for tripods and boom poles has been adopted.
☑ MC-1PH requires no batteries or other power source to operate. For microphones or lavalier microphone that require plug-in-power in order to operate, MC-1PH will automatically pass the bias voltage sent from the camera’s microphone input.
☑ The audio volume can be easily controlled by turning the Left and Right volume control dials. (Note that the MC-1PH does not boost audio)
Each of the 6 panels of the CUBE include appropriately placed features and functions, such as microphone input jacks, an output jack, volume controls, and female and male cold shoe adapters. Both of the cold shoe and shoe adapters are removable.
Those adapters can be freely mounted on the 3 panels to fit the shooting styles of your choice.
By connecting to an external power source, the MC-1PH can supply phantom power to the XLR connector on the Right channel.
This enables you to use phantom powered microphones, and you will have many possible microphone combinations to fit your shooting style.
For the Left channel, the MC-1PH features a 3.5 mm mini-jack. And for Right channel there are a 3.5 mm mini-jack and a 3-pin XLR female connector, either of which can be used depending on the microphone of your choice. The audio volume can be easily controlled by turning the Left and Right volume control dials*.
* MC-1PH does not feature a preamp to boost the audio volume. The maximum audio volume is what the microphone of your choice delivers.
MC-1PH requires no batteries or other power source to operate. You will never have to worry about running out of power. For microphones and that require plug-in-power in order to operate, MC-1PH will automatically pass the bias voltage sent from the camera’s microphone input.
In addition to the cold shoe, a shoe adapter with 1/4”-20 threaded hole has been adopted to be attached on the tripods or boom poles and other camera accessories.
